Flat Double Bridles

The Flat or Hunter bridle is traditionally a more sturdy bridle, able to withstand a day’s hunting in the field.  My flat bridles, because they are for showing are not heavier, but are considered a plainer, more workman like bridle with a flat and sometimes wider nose and browband.  It is stitched 10 to the inch and is usually matched with a laced, padded or plain rein.

These bridles are made from Sedgewick’s leather.
